In addition to it's close proximity to Lake Norman, plus all the recreational possibilities available at Latta Plantation, Rural Hill Farm and the Raptor Center , Cedarfield II enjoys it's own playground, common area and swimming pool complete with our very own swim team, the Cedarfield Sharks! 

The picturesque Torrence Creek Greenway, currently runs 1.4 miles of hiking, biking or walking trails through woods the behind Gilead Road with entrances connecting Cedarfield at Summerfield, Tatebrook, New Oak, Bradford Hill, Twin Trail and Moore's Mill Roads. And future expansion is rumored to have been planned via the proposed new Grier Neighborhood as well as a connection to Rosedale Village.

One part of this paved trail runs through a meadow, where neighbors say they often see deer. Another section passes by a series of large rock formations, with some rocks as big as school buses. Short sections of the greenway are boardwalks that meander through wetlands.

In addition to all these amenities, our community hosts several events for our residents including an annual Easter Egg hunt, Halloween parties and movie nights at the pool. The HOA sponsors "Yard of the Season" contests. The lucky winner receives a gift card and proudly displays a coveted "award" sign.
