STREET LIGHTING

UPDATE - Due to lack of response, the board must now go door to door for signature approval from the homeowners affected by the installation. We appreciate your patience while this important step is taken care of.

Due to the recent increase of car breakins and other criminal activity, the CII HOA is in the process of installing decorative lamps on the more traveled streets, such as Angel Oak and Henderson Hill, that are currently very dark.

This decision was also based on resident's demand and came to after much research and consultation. All sources acknowledge, and the Huntersville Police Department supports, that adding additional lighting has been proven to help deter crime.

Street markings or flags are placed at the proposed locations. Updates as to the installation progress will be in the Sun when available. Please contact any board member for more information.

6/02/2008 - Letters going out this week to homeowner's who's property the street lamps will be installed near.
